Wil has over a 15 years of experience in the technology industry, working for global companies and managing large scale technology projects for both Government and corporate clients.
Wil's career in New Zealand started as a Business Development Manager for Fujitsu NZ where he successfully grew their technology business year on year. Before moving to New Zealand, Wil was the UK Sales Manager South for technology industry giant EDS Global Field Services where he progressed the Southern Solutions team into becoming the most successful sales team in the company at the time.
Through Stickmen Studios and CerebralFix, Wil was part of the team responsible for establishing partnerships with world class organisations including Disney, Nintendo, DreamWorks, the BBC, SONY and EA Games. Key New Zealand partnerships have also been established with the Ministry of Science and Innovation, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the Crown Research organisation Industrial Research Limited (IRL).
Following the devastation of the Christchurch earthquakes, these New Zealand based and global relationships helped Wil create the Enterprise Precinct and Innovation Campus (EPIC) with Co-Founder Colin Andersen. Colin and Wil worked closely together to develop the innovation hub from concept to reality. The EPIC Sanctuary building is nearing completion and will be one of the first developments in the Christchurch Business Innovation Precinct. EPIC will house innovation focussed companies in a campus style building which promotes both shared services for business efficiency and inter-company collaboration for new opportunity development.
