Jack-Tame.jpg

Jack Tame is an Ōtautahi-born-and-bred radio and television journalist and presenter. He currently hosts NZ television show Q+A and his own radio show on Newstalk ZB, Saturday Mornings with Jack Tame.

Jack’s career in media has seen him go from humble beginnings as a TVNZ intern to a leading voice in Aotearoa’s political and current affairs coverage. He spent five years as TVNZ’s US correspondent in New York City, where he covered presidential election campaigns, terrorist attacks, global sporting events, and natural disasters, before coming back home to New Zealand to host TVNZ’s Breakfast show with Hilary Barry and write for the NZ Herald.

He says his career highlight thus far is an interview he conducted with Sir David Attenborough over a bottle of red in Antarctica.

Jack’s sharp perspective, unique presenting style and relentless curiosity makes him the perfect choice for  the MC of our tenth anniversary event.
